rhi is recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner to join our Oil & Gas client\'s team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will play a crucial role in consolidating monthly forecasts, generating forward monthly plans, and ensuring timely preparation of purchase requisitions for finished products and raw materials. Your responsibilities will include optimizing inventory levels, minimizing Slow Moving & Obsolete Stocks (SLOB), and maintaining a high level of service in line with key performance indicators. This is a 12-month contract position with a hybrid work arrangement, involving 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office, including 1 day in Port Klang. Key responsibilities: Consolidate monthly forecasts, generate forward plans, and prepare purchase requisitions. Respond effectively in crisis/continuity situations. Contribute insights to S&OP forums on demand trends, risks, and mitigation actions. Streamline GSC-owned stages, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency. Support supply schedule compilation for raw materials, components, and finished goods. Monitor and adjust sales volumes and stock development. Contribute data and analysis to projects and initiatives. Align with strategic goals, minimizing costs, and ensuring quality compliance. Provide analyst support for materials management and monthly forecasts. Communicate and coordinate change events, NPI, and Competitiveness Initiatives. Make material replenishment decisions within delegated authority. Recommend sourcing options, SKU transitions, and decisions within agreed authority. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree or any equivalent professional qualification About you: Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in supply chain activities. Project management experience and ability to manage conflicting priorities. Change management, risk identification, and issue resolution skills. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Proficient in MS Excel. Networking ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
