The role strives to provide undergraduates with projects that are passionate about propelling Smith+Nephew forward while also advancing the student\xe2\x80\x99s career. The program will offer interns significant work experiences, team-building events, and social activities when available. Successful candidates for the intern position will gain valuable experience in the medical device industry, which could craft career decisions and build future employment opportunities.What will you be doing?Responsible for demand planning master data maintenance.Use problem-solving skills to assist in production and material planning. Collect and interpret relevant data (costs, efficiency, demand patterns).Assist in establishing SAP report automation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement in streamlining the end-to-end supply planning process.Support system user acceptance testing and system error troubleshooting.Develop and improve management of open work orders with shortages.Perform tasks as requested by the Team Leader.What will you need to be successful?Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing an undergraduate degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline. A strong academic record, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, is helpful.Fresh graduates or undergraduates undergoing industrial training are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates should be proficient in written and spoken English and possess excellent communication skills, with a shown ability to lead projects. They should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, be effective team players, and handle time well to ensure timely project delivery. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Visio, is required, and experience with Power BI dashboard creation is an added advantage.You.
