Job Description
Purpose Statement: This is an entry level role, where individuals will be trained to manage the procurement execution of assigned goods, commodities and/or services in accordance with the quality, delivery and pricing expectations as detailed in Purchasing SOP\'s and WI\'s.Key Job Accountabilities:
- Responsible for purchasing of materials in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Plexus management and the customer\'s contract in terms of AVL adherence, unit price, quality and delivery.
- Makes tactical buying decisions with respect to the placement and management of all purchase orders.
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
- Relevant qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- General office equipment and materials.
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
