Support Engineer

About this opportunity We are now looking for a Support Engineer (OSS/NMS/EMS) that will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will fix and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks. The Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd party suppliers and local authorities.
What you will do

  • Customer Issue handling
  • Handling of dedicated support
  • 24/7 on call (2 weeks in a month)
  • Fixing customers issues on site.
  • Tracing complexed logs\' analysis for OSS application, Redhat Linux, VMware or other related platforms.

You will bring
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering
  • Must have 4 to 12 Years of relevant working experience
  • Working in OSS domain and has knowledge about Linux System administration and OSS applications
  • ENM (Ericsson Network Manager) or similar Network Management technology
  • An outstanding solving skill is required to address the customer issues
  • Strong technical competence should be exhibited when dealing with sophisticated customer issues
  • Should have worked in a Support function earlier
  • Must come from Telecommunication Industry.
  • 24*7 On call support is required but not often.
