Conduct surveys on land sites and properties \xe2\x80\xa2 Calculate areas of land parcels and easements using mathematics and computer software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. \xe2\x80\xa2 Writing descriptions of property boundaries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy \xe2\x80\xa2 Researching legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Research and design methods for survey processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g. longitudes, latitudes) \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise and provide guidance to field staff \xe2\x80\xa2 Purchase and maintain equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Report on survey results and present findings to clients \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring project are completed to schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing design from technical specification. \xe2\x80\xa2 Advising on planning application and boundary disputes.
