Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To perform all aspect of quantity surveying works, cost control and contract administration work
- To help to check Tender Documents, Letter of Awards, MOAs, contract documents, quotation submission etc. prepared (whether or not by the consultants) are in order
- To prepare project feasibility study and budget for project
- To assist in project organizing, cost control and evaluation of site works
- To undertake site valuation together with consultants, check project interim progress claims, evaluation of sub-contractors’ claims, variation orders and Final Account prepared by consultants
- To administer all performance bonds, insurance and guarantees and ensure validity according to provision of contract
- To undertake procurement for goods and materials purchased directly by the Group
- To attend and participate in coordination meetings to ensure implementation of project as and when required 

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 8-10 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Contract Executive or relevant role in property development industry
- Possess measurement skills and understanding of Malaysia Standard Method of Measurement and Contracts i.e. PAM Contract
- Articulate and proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- IT/Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and CAD
- Able to work independently with high degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Initiative, proactive, committed with a good working attitude
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Able anticipate immediate superior’s requirements and deliver assignments on time
- Pleasant disposition, resourceful, meticulous and able to multi-task to take on additional responsibilities to grow beyond core role
- Experience in litigation and arbitration process would be an added advantage
