Role Summary

Sustainable Investment data operations team provide Green Solutions data that is essential for addressing environmental objectives of investing in the green economy.

A Sustainable Investments Senior Analyst is a critical function in quality control of Green Solutions data collected by research analysts from sourced documents. Our Green Solutions Senior Analysts are responsible for managing data quality for a wide range of data on an expanding universe of companies and for ensuring quality and accuracy in all our Sustainable Investments Green Solutions product offerings. In addition to data verification and analysis, you are expected to become a Subject Matter Expert on various sub-themes within our Methodology and to actively contribute towards the development and maintenance of various training, Methodology and Guidance manuals. This subject matter expertise will also comprise proficiency in capital markets functions and a deep familiarity with company disclosures to support the full suite of Sustainable Investment data models. They should also handle queries pertaining to team and provide experienced advice on specific content knowledge relating to quality concepts and techniques to drive improvement activities within the data collection team and Service & Quality groups. This position is based in Kuching, Malaysia, reporting to Sustainable Investments Team Lead.

Key responsibilities of the role

To be the torchbearer of quality and leading voice of the customer in the team. Ensure that the analysts CONNECT with CUSTOMERS by understanding the reason they are updating Green Solutions data and how it is helping customers.

To be up to date with the latest collection policies, industry practices and procedures and other significant developments pertaining to different markets which would impact data collection.

To review the work of the analysts and coach analysts to update with quality thereby meeting the benchmark of 97%.

To assist in projects with emphasis on data content.

Take responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness within the team and set efficient and effective processes to meet the expected standards of quality, completeness and timeliness. Where required, the incumbent must collaborate with the production teams for setting the required processes in the team.

To take on the responsibility of resolving client queries in a timely manner, with very high standards of quality of response and customer satisfaction. Should be able to take right decisions quickly and independently.

To continuously find ways to improve quality and reduce number of service requests from clients and to help meet Service targets.

To continuously suggest improvement ideas on collection tools, internal processes and should suggest permanent fixes as well as on-going actions for preventing client queries.

To carry out special projects or specialized tasks related to the Green Solutions dataset as per the strategic plans.

To effectively collaborate with global team to provide high quality data to our clients.

To lead training and development, as well as coaching analysts on data collection policies and procedures.

Cultivate a learning and positive work environment.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent.

Experience in Sustainable Investments Data.

Possess experience in sustainability and/or Green Solutions related field.

Excellent written & spoken English language skills, with strong interpersonal skills.

Good organizing skills and ability to prioritize work to meet delivery requirements.

Ability to drive key initiatives and bring process improvements into day-to-day operations.

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in data collection role, Green Solutions methodology.

Experience in client service handling and training.

Other languages skills like Chinese, Japanese, Korean (written & spoken).

Possess process improvement experience.

Strong interpersonal communication/development skills.

Able to work independently.
