About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group\'s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

The Unsecured Credit Program Management is responsible for managing overall Cards & Personal Loans Portfolio related actions so as to maximize unsecured portfolio revenue stream with the right balance of risk/reward quotient.
These actions include (but not limited to):

  • Driving Profitable Installment Lending through portfolio segmentation & pricing tests, customer targeting, competitor benchmarking, incentive mg.t and credit tests within Cards & Lending Products.
  • Driving core balance growth & Installment ANR growth through the product & pricing segmentation of balance growth products, APR pricing tests, Product Upgrades/Conversions (with Product managers), credit tests for Total Cards & Consumer Lending products.
  • Credit line management and customer life cycle management related actions.
  • Formulate and drive going-forward digitalization strategy.
  • Driving monthly/ quarterly analytics & testing to deliver an annual installment sales volume.
  • Strategize and execute plans for maximizing frontloading & cross sell of portfolio cards & lending products & apply balance growth initiatives e.g.: Minimum Due Review, payment hierarchy, core APR pricing tests to attract profitable segments into the portfolio.
  • Optimize and execute credit tests, pricing test & pricing decisions to identify opportunities to increase response rates for Total Cards and Consumer Lending products.
  • Work with internal departments e.g. risk management, decision management, finance and sales to ensure marketing programs & test programs are properly executed in a timely manner with the approved strategies, policies, and marketing budgets.
  • Monitor and report on key credit risk metrics to senior management.
  • Prepare risk management presentations for senior management that include analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Ensure compliance in all internal and external dealings with customers, partners and regulators.
  • Appropriately assess risk by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in credit / risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably Cards and Personal Loans
  • In-depth knowledge of Unsecured Portfolio credit risk management practices and regulations
  • Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize
  • Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills
