The candidate will focus on the front end of the design flow, mainly synthesis of the design using Synopsys Synplify Support. The candidate is expected to be creative with finding root cause and workarounds using internal/external tools and identifying new features for the front end tools to improve customer experience in Lattice FPGA design. The candidate is expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute Lattice FPGA software release cycle including requirement analysis, feature scoping, testing and validation. The candidate also will be responsible for resolving customer reported issues for the software product and develop improvement plan to increase the test coverage to achieve high product quality.Responsibilities & SkillsBachelor, Master (Prefer) or better in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience in EDA SW Tool development, RTL System Design and customer facing applications engineering experience.Experience- Strong communication skills- Hands-on experience in FPGA Synthesis, RTL design, testbench development, logic verification, timing closure and debug the issue including board validation- RTL working knowledge of Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog- Scripting skills (e.g.: C/C++, Perl, TCL or Python)- Understanding FPGA design flows and tools is required- Hands-on experience with industry standard simulation tools such as Siemens QuestaSim, Synopsys VCS etc.- Working knowledge of EDA Tools is highly preferablePreferred- Knowledge or experience in FPGA architecture, FPGA tool or system design developmentBehaviors/Motivations- Team Player: Works well as a member of a group- Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity- Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help- Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organizationBenefitsCompetitive benefits package including:
