\xef\xbb\xbfOur client is seeking mobile application developers, based out of its HQ in Malaysia or the Philippines, with strong work ethics, who will be instrumental in maintaining and improving current in-house mobile applications and who will play a primary role in the enhancement and development of new features.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all cloud and on-premises servers, including Linux CentOS, Ubuntu and Windows Servers.
• Deploy new servers as needed, based on running projects.
• Daily monitoring of server performance and hardware conditions; report to superior or management when issues are found.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Support and liaise with vendors on server matters.
• Review cloud server costs half-yearly.
• Manage the server room firewall (Fortinet); adjust traffic policy and rules, review logs to check for suspicious traffic, and manage VPN.
• Manage the web application firewall (Sucuri) for the marketplace system.
• Maintain server security to minimize hacks.
• Maintain the network of the server room, including the internet connection, ISP router, modem, firewall, and switch.
• Maintain the internet connection in the office area, including the router connection.
• Maintain the company\'s DNS records, such as creating subdomains and changing domain records.
• Purchase and update new SSL certificates for web servers.
• Maintain the Zimbra email system.
• Manage third-party services used by the company, such as Fixer, Jira, Bitbucket and SendGrid.
• Monitor payment status of subscribed services.
• Provide infrastructure suggestions to the team on running projects.
• Perform weekly database backups.
• Maintain the server room condition, including air conditioning services.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior or management.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• More than 2 years of proven experience in system administration.
• Experience with Linux, Windows Servers and cloud computing.
• Experience with networking and security.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration:

MYR 4,500 - MYR 6,000
