Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities
Diagnose problems raised by level 3 support / service recovery
Design, build and test secure code or configuration fixes to permanently resolve the problem raised
Support SIT and UAT of code or configuration fixes
Update application documentation to reflect the fix
Prepare and test deployment plan, and seek approval for deployment from change control forum
Provide or contribute to reports on incidents, problems, service requests and application changes
Support deployment of fix. This is usually after business hours
Respond and participate in major incident responses (24x7)
Perform root cause analysis for major incidents
Provide or contribute to reports on incidents, problems, service requests and application changes
Identify and design improvements to the application (e.g. to reduce technical debt)
Escalate and track appropriate problems for software vendors to provide permanent fixes
Skills
Must have
3 to 5 years of experience
Functional experience in any of the Credit Origination or Loan or Card or Credit scoring or Credit Risk in Retail / Corporate
Ability to understand business requirement and translate system solution/requirement (BA will be doing business requirement gathering)
Ability to negotiate and influence
Work with development manager
Review FSD (prepared by vendor)
Write FSD for some inhouse product
Write/Review Interface Specs (Online and Batch - can be Unix Script, Soap API, Shell Script). Key area is to review the data mapping to external systems
Support & Coordinate testing (SIT/UAT). TCOE does SIT planning an execution.
JIRA triage, Support investigation
System is using EAI, MQ and JSon, API
Java platform (inhouse product) and vendor products (Credit Origination
