We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and managing the server system of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of meeting high expectations in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
Design system configurations, document, and manage the installation of new systems, while maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
Coordinate and provide technical input into project work as required.
Generate monthly operation performance reports.
Install, configure, and manage Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Hyper-V, Citrix, and VMware. Support and troubleshoot cloud and server infrastructure.
Perform regular patching, version updates, and maintenance tasks on HPE SimpliVity infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HPE SimpliVity, ensuring timely updates and compliance with organizational standards.
Ensure IT security compliance and perform system health checks, reliability, patch, or security-related issues.
Manage and respond to VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) alerts, ensuring that identified vulnerabilities are assessed, prioritized, and addressed promptly.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks.
Administer and monitor daily data backup activities(Veeam Backup), job run scheduling, and tape media management.
Conduct physical health checks of the Data Center facility based on customer-provided checklists and report findings to the global support team.
Participate as a team member in server-related projects.
Perform analytical tasks and troubleshooting.
Support internal IT applications.
Support IT audit activities, including ISO, internal, global, and external audits.
Manage project implementation and rollout, leading projects as required.
Involve in disaster recovery simulation and preparation.
Operate, maintain, and support first-level system, network equipment, and security devices at in-scope locations.
Provide vendor management for equipment warranty, maintenance, and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a similar field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Certification in MCSE - Communication/Messaging, MCSA - Office 365, Citrix CCA/CCEA, VCP 5 is an added advantage.
Positive, hardworking, and able to work within tight schedules and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Work Schedule:
On-site Monday to Friday
Working hours: 0800 Hours - 1730 Hours
Occasional travel to nearby branches
Overtime as needed

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
