Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator - III to join our team in Kulim. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting infrastructure deployments within a large semiconductor facility. Collaborating closely with the site network team and IT construction management, you will oversee a wide range of network services for manufacturing, facilities, and office domains. Your responsibilities will include planning, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality of deployed network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the deployment of IT network services for the project as the technical network engineer.
• Collaborate with Intel network engineers, guiding daily activities and ensuring independent work capability.
• Engage early to gain comprehensive knowledge of the site and Intel processes, contributing to planning stages.
• Plan and execute daily activities during the implementation phase, working alongside L2 engineers.
• Oversee all aspects of networking infrastructure deployment, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Take personal ownership of network infrastructure quality and performance.

• 5-6 years of experience in designing, maintaining, and operating medium to large-sized networks.
• Proficiency in CISCO routing, switching, and network troubleshooting, with at least 5-6 years of experience.
• 3-4 years of project management experience, delivering large-scale IT programs.
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing network-related issues and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment, capable of independent resolution.
• Demonstrated ownership attitude and ability to drive problems to resolution.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA & CCNP.
• Ability to implement innovative engineering methodologies to support aggressive schedules.
• Conflict resolution skills to maintain milestones and schedules.
• Self-initiative and ability to work with urgency.
• Regular progress updates and effective communication.
• Energetic, motivated, and adaptable to the role\'s demands.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and office applications.
• Compliance with specifications and maintenance of documentation and databases.
• Experience with construction, start-up, and operational support advantageous.
• Construction Safe Pass certification.

• CCNA / CCNP certification preferred.
• Experience with deploying a range of Cisco routers/switches using NXOS/IOS.
• Experience with ACI Architecture highly appreciated.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Onsite role with immediate availability preferred.
• Preferred candidates based in Kedah or Penang to minimize relocation time.
