JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

• Responsible for the overall operations and administration of the Mobile Device infrastructure and its associated security components.
• Working with multiple functional groups and other Mobile Administrators establish design criteria and an architecture that will be used to manage and deploy mobile devices that meets the needs of today and tomorrow.
• This role will keep an eye on technology in the mobile space used to define future state for the company.

Main Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and upgrades Mobile Device Management software.
• Responsible for providing and insuring data availability, data integrity, and data security.
• Performs maintenance and upgrade activities for the mobile device infrastructure.
• Contributes to the development of recovery, monitoring and on call procedures for the mobile infrastructure platform.
• Prepares and deploys applications to the company mobile fleet.
• Manages the application development framework utilizes and publishing systems.
• Tests mobile device compatibility and capability and establishes a published device compatibility matrix.
• Participates in Level 2 MDM administration functions and supports the development of L1 administration functions.
• Supports the activities of junior technology members and acts as a resource source to various application and infrastructure teams in the mobile device space.
• Develops and maintains current infrastructure drawings and standards documentation the mobile management and mobile device space.
• Develops, communicates, and trains others on enterprise policies, standards and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for the implementation of highly available, tightly integrated, secure, flexible, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Works with business and IT personnel to develop platform and device requirements required to meet use case and business demand.
• Works with minimal direction and reports on status of reaching assigned objectives.
• Research and forecast new technology capabilities and their applicability within the greater organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM), Workspace One (MDM) / AirWatch, Apple and Android handling knowledge.
