Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidate with experience (Internship) will have added advantage.
Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
Strong understanding of tax compliance principles and practices.
Ability to conduct tax research and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.
Familiarity with financial accounting principles and corporate tax regulations.
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including corporate tax, individual tax, and sales tax (SST).
Maintain accurate and organized tax records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
Conduct tax research and analysis on relevant tax laws and regulations to support tax planning and compliance activities.
Assist in tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
Support senior tax team members in identifying tax planning opportunities and developing tax-efficient strategies for clients.
Prepare tax computations and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax preparation and address tax-related inquiries.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company and its clients.
Provide support in ad-hoc tax projects and assignments as required.
