Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Manager located in Shah Alam. The Tax Manager will be responsible for tax planning, compliance, preparation, law, and other related activities. Other Responsibilities include: Conduct research to generate ad hoc tax advice on various tax-related matters for a group of companies, ensuring that all projects and investments are structured for maximum tax efficiency. Establish and uphold the group\'s compliance framework, ensuring that internal practices align with relevant tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with the Section Head to provide value-added services to group companies, focusing on tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liability, reduce the risk of tax litigation, and promote productive investments while upholding tax obligations. Develop and implement training programs, delivering tax training sessions and updates to finance teams. Collaborate closely with peers and business units to manage tax audits effectively. Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors as needed. Qualifications Tax Planning and Tax Compliance skills Tax Preparation and Tax Law knowledge Strong understanding of tax regulations and requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in tax planning and compliance Have experience in group tax in property development is a plus Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other relevant certification is a plus
