Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting testing and commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and communication systems in accordance with approved procedures and schedules. Perform system installation checks, pre-commissioning inspections, and equipment testing under the supervision of T&C Engineers or Supervisors. Operate testing instruments and tools required for checking system performance, continuity, insulation, and other functional tests. Record test results, observations, and any deviations or faults encountered during testing. Support in troubleshooting and rectification of issues found during T&C activities. Ensure that all works comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements. Assist in preparation of test reports, checklists, and documentation for submission to clients or consultants. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other site personnel as required during test activities. Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of testing areas and equipment.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in testing and commissioning works, preferably in rail, MRT, or infrastructure projects. Experience in working with systems such as electrical panels, SCADA, signaling, communications, or power supply is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read simple technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Skilled in using testing tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, etc. Familiarity with testing procedures and safety protocols.

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):

Safety certifications such as CIDB, HIRARC, Electrical Safety, Confined Space Entry (if required by project).

Other Competencies:

Physically fit and willing to work in field/site conditions. Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills. Willing to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours based on the testing schedule. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Willing to work for 6 days a week.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,700.00 per month
