Job Description
A teacher aspires to teach in a manner and at a level which is in accordance with the school's published
"Principles of professional practise for teachers at Taylor's International School.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? History teacher who can teach History, Glocal Ethics and PSHE subjects up to KS4.
? Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive
learning environment
? Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range
within their class
? Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
? Maintaining discipline
? Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development
? Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
? Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting
colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
? Working with others to plan and coordinate work
JOB REQUIREMENTS
? Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in the related field.
? Preferably with Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
? Experience of IGCSE syllabus is desirable.
? Most recent work experience with an international school is preferred.
? At least 2 year (s) of teaching experience in a school environment.
