The OpportunityOur client, a leading insurance group that has been managing workers\' insurance and injured workers\' compensation claims in Australia for 110 years, is hiring for a Team Lead to be part of their Malaysia team! Together with their AU partners, employers, medical providers and customers, they drive industry-leading return-to-work outcomes and safe work initiatives.As the Team Lead, you will be expected to manage & monitor the functions within the Data Entry team, and to provide the highest level of service to both internal and external customers.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams into achieving day-to-day metric goals including SLA by offering pro-active solutions through Operations Manager, and completing monthly deliverables and tasks.
  • Identify and track issues, risks, and action items, provide status to Group Manager, and facilitate resolutions.
  • Build capabilities of employees in the responsible group, through training and coaching with a focus on local management levels.
  • Help create the culture of \xe2\x80\x9cOne Group\xe2\x80\x9d, by fostering knowledge transfer and collaboration across teams in Claims, Support, and Admin Onshore, sharing and celebrating successes.
  • Help design implements, and evaluates operational strategies and system development practices which support increased efficiency and effectiveness across all tasks and roles.
  • Ensures adherence to the Security Policy, Zero Tolerance Policy, Client Privacy Policy, and Learning Agreement.
  • Responsible for staff retention of their assigned group.
  • Prepare and present Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reviews of the assigned group.
  • Other assigned tasks as required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Graduate of any Bachelor\'s degree course
  • Demonstrated experience as a Team Lead in outsourcing/offshoring setup
  • Strong leadership, people management, administrative, and numeracy skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Team facilitation and training skills
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including intermediate to advanced skill level of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail (excellent quality of deliverables)
  • Ability to be highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and self-motivation
