Team Leader - Record Central Services

The Group Leader\'s job is to manage a technical team\'s daily activities efficiently. They find and solve system problems, maintain peak system performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and laws. They report to a manager and oversee a small group of support staff who follow established guidelines and procedures.

The role we are offering you:

  • Define aircraft transition projects based on client\xe2\x80\x99s program scope and objectives
  • Prepare resource requirements and budget.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedules and work plans
  • Manage project progress, project cost and quality of deliverables
  • Communicate on a consistent basis with lessors, airlines, project team, other service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Define and constantly evolve internal procedures.
  • Support the Sales / business development process for new projects
  • Manage digital technical records on the CAE cloud storage solution
  • Lead project team assigned to each project
  • Manage competencies of the team, including by delivering internal training
  • Support performance management and development of team members together with the department lead.
  • Supervise technical records review comprising among others: Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Supplementary Type Certificate mods, Minor modifications, Landing Gear LLPs, Engines (SB\xe2\x80\x99s, AD\xe2\x80\x99s & LLPs), Structural Damages, maintenance status summaries, Outstanding Item List (OIL) closure.
Our ideal candidate has:
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in aircraft technical records, preferably experience with aircraft lease transitions, records review
  • Bacherlors degree in technical field or Licensed Aircraft Engineer or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a project lead / team lead role in the aviation sector
  • Competent with IT applications (MS Office, Cloud storage, Airbus World, MyBoeing Fleet)
  • Good communicator (verbal and written) across organizations and with customers
  • Performance driven, Flexible and adaptable.
  • Pro-active approach to achieving customer satisfaction and driving change.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.
