Your Job: The incumbent is responsible for managing the Asia Pacific ATR Administration team and is directly responsible for the maintenance and development of ATR financial systems, reporting platforms, and end user support framework required to support ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely reporting of actual results, budgets, and forecasts. The financial reporting function is typified by a series of stringent reporting requirements which must be achieved.Within the tight time constraints of the environment the position is expected to continually seek for ways of improving the accuracy of the accounting information, the presentation of reports, and reduce the time to complete reporting activities. The position is expected to act independently, with initiative and with minimal supervision, and provides work direction, performance coaching, career development to a team of ATR Operations Analyst. Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Maintain Accounting to Reporting Systems and Processes: Direct and coordinate the Asia Pacific ATR administration function to ensure financial accounting systems are maintained in good working order and are developed to meet changing business requirements, and support and training is provided to finance end users and customers Evaluate, recommend, and implement approved system changes whilst ensuring all system changes are fully documented, tested, and authorised prior to release in the production system Provide a source of financial expertise, systems and problem solving capabilities to assure sound analysis, recommendations and action programs in the administration, maintenance, and development of ATR systems Period End Maintenance: Direct and co-ordinate the month and year end SAP system close processes Timely and accurate close of financial reported results Reported results in SAP Profit Centre Accounting and Profitability Analysis and other assigned reporting platforms reflect true and fair financial results. Develop and Maintain User and Customer Support Framework: Direct and co-ordinate the development and maintenance of end user and customer support and training platforms, tools, and materials Co-ordinate the timely provision of ATR support and training to provide the end users and customers with the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to transact appropriately and report out of SAP ATR systems and reporting platforms. Internal Customer Relationships: Manage and proactively work and collaborate with internal customers to ensure the type and quality of services provided support them in the achievement of their business objectives, and efficiently provide the essential administrative support services to the organisation Provide training to customers on corporate reporting processes, systems, and methodology World Class Finance & Internal Controls: Manage the identification and recommendations to improve financial and internal controls and other business processes and practices Manage cost-effectiveness of providing the services to affiliates within Asia Pacific Talent Management: Develop employees to their full potential through Performance Management coaching, appropriate training and education, goal setting and career development. Build sustainable talent pool and expertise in the subject areas while ensuring succession plan is in place within the team Essential Requirements: Degree in Accounting and professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc) Minimum of 7-8 years business experience and minimum 2 years experiences in people management Knowledge of local and U.S. accounting requirements Experience in managing transitions and process improvement projects Knowledge of computer systems and applications including SAP and HFM. High level of skill in oral and written English communication. Good command of any other Asian language would be an advantage.
