About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • To manage a portfolio of commercial banking client relationships
  • Provide leadership, direction and guidance to a team of Account Relationship Managers (ARM), ensuring their productivity, motivation and development
  • Monitor and evaluate team member\'s performance and providing constructive feedback/ support
  • To understand each client\'s financial needs/issue/agenda; originating and assisting in the execution of innovative deal solutions with and through UOB team partners.
  • To build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, as \'The Trusted Banker to call\' who delivers high quality service, and consistently exceeds clients expectations.
  • To identify new opportunities to up-tier the client relationship in breadth and depth through clients\' changing needs; and where applicable, to introduce and deliver UOB\'s strategic product capabilities.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a recognized degree and a minimum of 8 years of related working experience.
  • Possess leadership and team management experience
  • Independent, reliable and meticulous in work approach
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Good analytical skills in financial accounts and well-versed in cash flow analysis, independent, self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Willing to travel/mobile.
