Handles all guest requests and complaints professionally, following the hotel's service recovery guidelines.
Prepares duty rosters and ensures staffing levels are aligned with business needs.
Ensures all opening and closing duties are carried out according to established standards.
Conducts daily pre-service briefings for the team.
Checks daily mise-en-place, cleanliness, and outlet setup prior to service.
Manages requisitions for food, beverages, and other operational supplies.
Answers telephone calls politely and efficiently.
Maintains an accurate and updated logbook.
Outlet Service
Welcomes guests warmly and assists with seating arrangements.
Supervises and participates in the service of food and beverages in accordance with hotel standards.
Understands table/seat numbering, takes orders accurately, and inputs them into the Micros system.
Provides special attention and service to VIP guests.
Assists the Host/Hostess in managing reservations and table allocation.
Builds strong customer relationships and actively promotes guest loyalty and repeat business.
In-Room Dining
Prepares and sets up the In-Room Dining service area before service according to standards.
Maintains cleanliness and completeness of all In-Room Dining equipment and supplies.
Takes guest orders, offers recommendations, and up-sells to maximise revenue.
Inputs and settles orders in the Micros system.
Checks orders for accuracy and presentation before dispatching.
Ensures trays and trolleys are collected promptly and efficiently.
Prepares, delivers, and refreshes amenities according to standards and schedules.
Banquet Operations
Ensures all banquet function setups are completed on time and according to event orders.
Communicates with the kitchen on dietary requirements and special requests.
Ensures buffet items are replenished regularly, maintaining freshness and presentation throughout the event.
Assists with daily banquet duties such as serving coffee breaks, setups, and tear-downs.
Ensures correct signage is placed at function entrances.
Welcomes event organizers and provides support in the absence of the Banquet Operations Manager.
Provides basic assistance with audio-visual equipment when required.
Ensures all event changes are recorded, updated on event orders, and distributed accordingly.
Supervises dinners and cocktail events, supporting team members where needed.
Cashiering
Ensures charge-to-room transactions are signed and verified against the correct room number.
Validates all credit card payments and follows established procedures.
Processes Officer's Checks, Entertainment Checks, and City Ledger charges in accordance with policies.
Accurately records all food and beverage sales.
Handles daily cash receipts and manages the Cashier's House Fund responsibly.
Completes the Remittance Report and submits receipts according to accounting procedures.
Completes the Restaurant Cashier's Summary accurately.
Accounts for all guest checks issued.
Handles cash payments and provides correct change.
