Technical Support Engineer (L1/L2)
to support global customers, with exposure to
backup & recovery
and strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
What You'll Do
Provide L1/L2 technical support for global customers (enterprise environment exposure preferred)
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across Windows Server and/or Linux environments
Diagnose common networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and system connectivity problems
Support storage-related topics (NAS, SAN, RAID, NFS) and virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V)
Assist with backup & recovery processes and operational support, ensuring service reliability
Participate in onsite/hybrid work arrangement in Selangor, including mandatory onsite training
What You Bring
Must-have:
Degree in Computer Science / IT, or equivalent hands-on experience 3-5 years of L1/L2 technical support experience (enterprise preferred)
Strong troubleshooting in Windows Server and/or Linux
Good knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Storage concepts: NAS, SAN, RAID, NFS
Virtualization experience: VMware or Hyper-V
Backup & recovery exposure (tools/process knowledge)
Good communication skills in
English + Mandarin (Mandarin speakers only)
Able to work hybrid/onsite in Selangor, including mandatory onsite training
Nice-to-have:
Exposure to backup tools: Commvault, Veritas, Veeam, NetBackup, Avamar
Cloud knowledge: AWS or Azure Certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, CCNA/CCNP, Windows Server certification
DR planning/testing experience
Background in data protection or enterprise storage
