Competitive benefitsOversees the Technical Art and Quality Control departments. Duties include developing and enhancing these teams. Works with Producers, Art Directors, and Technical Directors on studio and project strategies and planning, establishes a hierarchy of responsibility, provides mentorship, and liaises directly with clients.Responsibilities:

• Oversee TA/QC divisions, providing support to TAs for work-related issues and professional growth.
• Conduct interviews for TA and QC roles to maintain a strong trajectory in departmental growth.
• Engage in regular one-on-one discussions with team members to foster stronger connections and teamwork.
• Assess and manage TA performance, including reviews, evaluations, and promotional considerations.
• Contribute to project proposals and cost appraisals.
• Collaborate with Producers and ADs to match the right TAs with specific projects.
• Evaluate project risks and challenges from a TA perspective.
• Enhance technical strategies for existing and prospective ventures.
• Lead or join in on technical client meetings.
• Process client feedback, clarifying it for team understanding and action.
• Keep clients informed on matters relating to TA activities.
• Record best practices and trends within the TA domain, including innovative pipelines and industry research.
• Pursue early adoption of new technologies to gain a competitive edge in production.
• Handle requests for tool development or research from different departments, assigning suitable personnel to the tasks.
• Adopt industry-standard methods within project execution.
• Assist in or take the lead on developing TA training content and demonstrations.
• Own the creation and maintenance of pipelines, guidelines, training materials, tools, as well as overseeing team structure, motivation, PDP, and resource allocation.

• Minimum of 8 years of working experience with Technical Art or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Gaming Industry (PC and Console platforms)
• Houdini or PCG expertise
• Mathematics skills
• Producing extensive technical art professionally for games
• Custom Game Engine knowledge (AAA) and / or solid experience of Unreal Engine
• Direct-line management of technical teams (5+ years)
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
