Technical Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Position Summary

We are seeking a

skilled and proactive Technical Consultant

with hands-on development experience in

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)

.
This role combines

application support, technical consulting, and solution development

to enhance our financial systems and deliver scalable, high-impact improvements.

You will collaborate closely with

Global IT teams and external partners

to design, build, and support innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency across multiple global entities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced

technical support and consulting

for D365 F&O, focusing on Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Project Management, Sales/Purchase Orders). Analyse business requirements and translate them into

functional and technical specifications

. Design, develop, and test

customizations, extensions, and integrations

using

X++

,

Power Platform

, and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with

functional consultants

to align business needs with technical solutions. Offer

technical guidance

to clients and internal teams on D365 F&O best practices and platform capabilities. Manage

Application Change Requests (ACRs)

, ensuring timely delivery and proper stakeholder communication. Provide user support across global entities, including

technical assistance and end-user training

where required. Maintain comprehensive

documentation

for support tickets, development activities, and system changes. Conduct

unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

for all enhancements and solutions. Support

audit and compliance activities

by preparing technical documentation and system data when required. Develop and maintain

user manuals, technical guides, and training materials

. Collaborate with

onshore and offshore IT teams

to coordinate development and support efforts. Stay up to date with

D365 platform releases and updates

, contributing to upgrade and release planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum

1 year of experience

working with

Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O

in a technical or development role. Proficient in

X++ development

, including extensions, event handlers, and data entities. Strong understanding of

D365 F&O architecture

, data model, and integration frameworks (e.g.,

Data Management Framework

,

OData

). Experience with

SQL Server

and

T-SQL

. Familiarity with

Azure DevOps

for version control, build management, and project tracking. Knowledge of the

Power Platform

(Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is an advantage.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications

(e.g., MB-300, MB-500) are highly desirable. Strong

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

. Ability to

work independently and collaboratively

within a global, fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,800.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
