UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible to oversee and manage Murex Environments, EOD and Operations support.

Your job responsibilities include:

• Partner with System Analysts, Functional Business Analysts and SME\'s to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements
• Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results
• Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager (PM)/ Program Manager and Team Lead
• Perform regular system/Environment health checks, Environment/EOD/Operations support
• Change Release management
• Carry out regular/Ad hoc core dump thru RMAN/Export/Import to send to Vendor for build/investigation
• Preparation and Execution of Ctrl+M EOD batches for different project milestones (UAT, MR, Go-Live etc)
• Performing/Monitoring daily/monthly housekeep jobs related to Accounting, Market Data etc.
• Exp on ad hoc operational requests such as generating of on demand reports, file transfer, housekeeping activities
• Liaise with vendor to run diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues
• Monitor and tune performance of overall EOD
• Perform sanity checks in Murex UI such as workflows, real time data etc
• Work with DBAs to troubleshoot performance issues with DB that impact the EOD batches

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with Murex architectural set up experience
• Knowledge in Oracle/SQL, Java, AIX, Solaris, Open systems
• Knowledge in Cloud and infrastructure setup is an added advantage
• Track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company
