#Vacancy #Technical Director (Infra/Civil) #KL (Jalan Imbi) Our client (MNC-headquarters in Singapore) is one of the most respected Asian-based engineering companies in the world, located in Kuala Lumpur, they work with clients around the world with diverse types of projects which include tall buildings, roads, highways, aviation, metros, and railways, water, ports, and power. They are looking for Technical Director (Infra/Civil). Besides the attractive salary, they also have 5 days of work a week, 5% gratuity, hospitalization, surgical, PA, medical, life insurance, free parking, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set design criteria, check design calculation and drawings;

• Ensure concept and sketch designs are approved before progressing to the next stage;

• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of work carried out by the Team;

• Oversee and control efficiency and quality of work produced by the Team members;

• Manage staffing and technical standards of the Team;

• Allocate resources including human resources to various projects;

• Assist in preparing fee proposals;

• Advise and report to the Managing Director and Division Manager on the adequacy of the services and the performance of each individual member;

• Control Team costs and team administration;

• Prepare design reports at the concept and sketch design stages;

• Handle all correspondences including reports, technical specifications, and other documents relating to Team projects;

• Attend design/site meetings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Must register with the Board of Engineering (BEM) as Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) in Civil.

• Min 15 years of working experience, with at least 10 years in a civil engineering consulting firm, handling infra design projects like highways, bridges, roads, drainage, sewerage, water reticulation, etc. Must have experience managing a team.

• Familiar with detailed design and construction phase services of infrastructure works including mass rapid transit, highways, roads, water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and earthworks; planning and design of the civil works and alignment.

• Able to converse fluently in English and Malay.

• Strong communication skills.

• Able to work independently, lead the project, and have a good attitude.
