We are seeking a proactive and skilled Technical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-level designs, liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, and supporting product development and manufacturing optimization. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare high-level designs based on problem statements and business opportunities.
Liaise with customers and the sales team for opportunity development and new projects.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal fabrication teams to realize design concepts.
Conduct site visits and equipment inspections to formulate proposals.
Work closely with R&D and Manufacturing departments to support new product development.
Support manufacturing operations in process optimization projects.
Prepare technical documentation including proposals, bills of material, specifications, and drawings throughout the inquiry and tender process.
Lead and shape product development and improvement projects based on customer opportunities and product performance feedback.
Prepare technical drawings, bills of material, literature, product data, technical specifications, and CAD material for new product designs.
Provide technical support to sales, project, and site teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in an SME environment.
Strong experience in product design and problem-solving.
Ability to create 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks (preferred).
Experience in manufacturing (optional but advantageous).
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to convey ideas clearly.
Demonstrates initiative and possesses leadership qualities.
