OVERVIEW
Technical Supervisor supports the Facility Manager by assisting with the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of a building or facility. Key responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, managing vendors and contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting budget management, and assisting with facility projects and improvements to create a productive and safe environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily facility operations, coordinate repairs, and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure building systems are reliable and functional.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services and maintenance, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Ensure the facility meets health, safety, and environmental standards, and assist with the implementation of emergency response and disaster recovery plans.
Assist with managing operational budgets, tracking costs, and preparing reports on facility performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Support the planning and execution of facility projects, such as renovations, equipment installations, and space utilization improvements.
Provide guidance and supervision to maintenance staff, ensuring they adhere to safety training and standards.
Act as an administrative point of contact and maintain good relationships with internal departments, clients, tenants, and other stakeholders.
Strong ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and lead teams to drive performance.
Understanding of basic building systems, maintenance processes, and regulatory requirements for health, safety, and environmental standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, vendors, and management.
Basic knowledge of finance principles and budget management for cost-effective facility operations.
Ability to identify and resolve facility-related issues promptly.

Excellent Response and Reporting
QUALIFICATIONDiploma/Degree in Engineering or Facilities Management
Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of hard services and soft services.
Strong people and vendor management skills
Able to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
