- Set-up and Installation: Ensure proper installation of medical devices/equipment (e.g., AI ultrasound, Freewalk, AI Microscope) as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
- System Integration: Work with other equipment or hospital management systems to ensure seamless integration.
-Calibration: Perform calibration and initial quality checks after installation to ensure optimal performance of devices.
2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Routine Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on medical devices to ensure longevity and smooth operation. This includes regular cleaning, inspection, and replacement of worn-out parts.
- Breakdown Maintenance: Respond promptly to malfunctions or failures in equipment and conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Software Updates: Ensure that device software and firmware are up-to-date, and perform necessary updates.
3. Customer Support & Training
- On-site Support: Provide on-site technical support to healthcare professionals using medical devices, ensuring that they understand how to operate the equipment properly.
- Training: Conduct training for medical staff on the proper use, safety protocols, and maintenance of the devices.
- Technical Support: Offer customer support through phone or remote troubleshooting, if necessary, and ensure any service issues are resolved in a timely manner.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Service Reports: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, installations, repairs, and technical support cases.
- Compliance Documentation: Ensure that all equipment and service procedures comply with regulatory standards (e.g., Medical Device Authority (MDA) Malaysia requirements).
- Incident Reporting: Report any device-related incidents or safety concerns as per internal procedures.
5. Regulatory Compliance & Safety
- Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure all medical devices meet the local regulatory standards set by Malaysia's Medical Device Authority (MDA), ensuring compliance with local healthcare regulations.
- Safety Standards: Follow strict safety protocols when working with high-tech medical equipment to prevent any accidents or health hazards for both patients and staff.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to verify that all medical devices function according to specifications and safety standards.
6. Sales & Technical Support
- Product Demonstration: Participate in the demonstration of medical equipment to potential customers, showcasing the features and benefits of the device.
- Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical information and provide pre-sales support to help in decision-making processes by providing technical details about the products.
- Post-Sales Support: Ensure smooth post-sales support, including installation, training, and after-sales services.
7. Inventory Management
- Spare Parts Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and accessories for the medical devices.
8. Product Development Feedback
- Field Observations: Provide feedback to management regarding any issues observed in the field, helping with product improvement or innovation.
9. Research & Development Support
- Technical Investigations: Support with any necessary technical investigations to understand the cause of equipment failure, or improve performance.
-Testing New Products: Be involved in testing new medical devices and providing feedback on performance and usability.
