We are searching for an innovative Technical Lead to join our company. We are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company specialised in the provision of human capital management (HCM) software. We are one of the most powerful and innovative HCM platform in the region with the aim to help successful business and HR leaders to stay on top of their games. It provides comprehensive, end to end solution to nurture and engage employees as well as candidates and streamline processes and produces analytics for business strategy.
You will lead the company\xe2\x80\x99s technical team and projects they undertake, analyze briefs, identify risks, develop work schedules and perform software development (full stack) to support and enhance the system. You should be able to work with your team and inspire them to reach their goals.
To be successful, you should always be to support the team to deliver outstanding product and resolve any technical issues.
Responsibilities:

• Backend web/mobile application development with a variety of languages including but not limited to PHP, NodeJS, jQuery, JSON, MySQL, etc
• Develop progressive web application using Vue.JS, Bootstrap and PHP
• Build new features and fix bugs
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Lead developers to improve website layout and features
• Write high-quality, clean, maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)
• Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications
• Responsible for maintaining and improving the systems, as well as for operating and monitoring, to meet high availability and scalability requirements
• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
• Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years working experience in backend web application development. Must be able to do full stack development.
• Experience in PHP, Laravel framework, RESTful APIs.
• Experience in Vue.js and Bootstrap development
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate who is not afraid to work hard and play hard in a startups environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
