About the Hiring Company:The hiring company is an established American MNC that is a major player in the services industry for F&B Clients. They have presence in major critical markets and intends to strengthen its portfolio to continue their growth. With their business teams currently based in Petaling Jaya (Malaysia), they are actively hiring a Technical Lead to shape and manage the company\'s IT Strategy while working in partnership with the
business executive leadership team and regional IT teams be an integral part of their business and contribute to their growth in the region.You will be reporting into the General Manager and will be responsible for the successful achievement of all IT projects for the company across Malaysia and Singapore. This is a strategic core position but you will also have to attend to the daily operational activities.Responsibilities will include:

• Closely partner with senior leadership and Global IT teams to drive and ensure successful completion of IT projects across the region, including Malaysia and Singapore
• Lead, guide and train a team of 2 executives in the office to ensure the delivery of IT services and solutions (hardware/software/ERP) meet service level agreements
• Develop and enforce policy and procedures to ensure the protection of the Groups IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy including implementation of disaster recovery plans and processes
• Plan and manage the delivery of consulting and other services (including maintaining knowledge of current technology) by external and internal suppliers in order to ensure delivered service levels meets the business needs
• Communicate IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the organization in the region, including management groups and professional staff

The Successful Applicant

• Degree or relevant formal qualifications in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in a technical role with exposure in managing team members.
• Strong understand of ERP solutions/JD Edwards/ Power BI is a must to excel in this position
• Background in supply chain will be highly regarded
• Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels.
