As an Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Solution Application and Support Engineer, your primary responsibilities for this role are to provide technical support in both the pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements and to develop the support strategy for new products.

• Use in-depth technical or scientific knowledge and product expertise to resolve product support escalations. May interact directly with customers or provide deep support internally to Field Application Engineers, Remote Support Engineers, or customer call center personnel.
• Provide technical product and measurement consulting on presales opportunities.
• Ensure field support plan, repair levels, and production support plan are developed and implemented for new solutions.
• Interact with marketing, sales, technical support, QA, manufacturing, product development, etc. as well as external customers to ensure that products have necessary features, cost parameters, supportability goals, reliability targets and release schedules.
• Create product/process user documentation as needed to fulfill the solution lifecycle process.
• Develop and deliver technical training to the Keysight technical support teams, such as the field application and remote support engineers
• Lead technical marketing projects requiring coordination with other functions
• Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Typically 4-5 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
• Requires in-depth test and measurement knowledge and experience in autonomous vehicle testing and sensor technology like Radar and Lidar.
• Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in functional testing of automotive electronic control unit (ECU).
• Requires technical competence to provide customer support and ability to work independently.
• Requires programming skills; Microsoft Visual Studio and OpenTAP.
