Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Technical & Network Support Assistant to support our company's IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will assist in managing the company's NAS (Synology), maintaining network stability, and providing first-level technical support to employees for their laptops, PCs, and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connections, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points. Manage and optimize Synology NAS, including storage health, backup schedules, RAID configurations, and data security. Implement network security best practices -- firewall rules, VPN access, and user permissions. Provide support to staff for laptops, PCs, printers, and shared network drives. Support new device setup, system reinstallation, and peripheral configuration. Assist in IT policies, backup plans, and vendor management. Provide weekly technical reports and improvement suggestions to the CTO.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering. Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DHCP, DNS, and VPN. Experience with Synology NAS and DSM operations. Familiar with Windows OS, basic Linux, and hardware troubleshooting. Knowledge of firewall configuration and Wi-Fi setup preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
