About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Application Support Engineer

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and application support, analyzing system issues, and ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of day-to-day operations. You will play an important role in improving customer satisfaction, supporting deployment initiatives, and driving continuous improvements across our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance customer service delivery through proactive engagement, contributing to customer satisfaction and organic business growth. Provide technical and application support to maintain stable, reliable, and high-performing system operations. Perform regular system maintenance and implement performance optimizations to improve system efficiency and functionality. Manage customer expectations effectively, escalating complex or critical issues to the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution. Respond to help desk requests by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and application-related issues. Troubleshoot technical problems, support system configurations, and assist with testing and deployment activities.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

or a related field. Minimum of

5 years of experience

in

IT Support

or

Application Support

roles. Proactive, resourceful, and a strong

team player

with excellent collaboration skills. Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of

Java

,

Linux CentOS

, and web servers such as

Nginx

,

Tomcat

, or

Apache

is an advantage. Experience in

log analysis

and

root cause analysis

. Familiarity with

database systems

. Understanding of the

securities, trading

, or

financial services

industry is a plus.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
