Job Description

Lead the cross disciplines engineering team on the product development and delivery of validated technical product Define the engineering contents of the project schedule together with the engineering disciplines Define the product integration strategy and acceptance criteria together with the disciplines Manage the technical budget from the team execution with the tracking of R&D effort Work out the system engineering effort estimation, evaluate and consolidate discipline effort estimation Ensure the availability of consolidated engineering BOM (ME, EE, SW, Display) Define Product Test specification (PTS) together with disciplines to align with production plant for feasibility and setup Perform and work with Product Integrator on the integration test of samples and distribution to customer and development Preparation of the System Engineering Material releases Job Requirements Degree/ Masters in Engineering /Science in a technical/engineering domain, preferably with product development experience and knowledge in software / electronic / mechanical engineering Experience with product development life cycle Good knowledge of product management methods and tools Good knowledge of the product components (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software) Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, motivating team into problem-solving Experience and competence in Requirement engineering and System Engineering Minimum 8 years of working experience in area of Product design/development Experience in leading a team of 3 or more engineers is an advantage Team leader with good communication skill is essential. Japanese language ability is an advantage Willing to travel overseas for training and/or projects on short notice
