Responsibilities

  • Supports both the HSSE Leads in the delivery of all HSSE & SP aspects of the project in the EXECUTE phase all the way up to a successful Project-to-Asset (P2A) handover (to beginning of OPERATE phase).
  • Supports the HSSE & SP Authorised Person (AP) to integrate functional support/input of various HSSE & SP disciplines to deliver on project commitments (based on the expected practice maps and its control points), meeting the intent of the Project Management Framework (PMF) and PS01. Supports the development and implementation of the HSSE & SP Activity Plan appropriate to the risks and long term objectives of the project. Supports the HEMP process to ensure fit for purpose solutions. Responsible to deliver relevant DCAF control points (based on PMF) for the project (OGP, Offshore & SURF) and ensures functional assurance is obtained from the Project HSSE & SP TA2.
  • Collaborate with Contractors in supporting and executing HSE activities associated with different contracts for OGP, Offshore & SURF; notwithstanding delivery of initiatives / audits / campaigns from Client Group.
  • Support the oversight of Contractor\'s Technical Safety Engineering (TSE) team and ensure timely review/approval of Contractor\'s TSE deliverables, including delivery of HSE Cases and documents for regulatory submissions. The Project HSSE Engineer will also be responsible for the delivery and up to commissioning of Fire Fighting, Safety & Life-saving Equipment & Packages.
  • Support HSE efforts in Construction together with Construction Safety Engineer, to deliver Goal Zero performance; firmly establish Life Saving Rules (LSR) and IFC into the culture of the construction team and that of Contractors employed to execute scope.
  • Custodian of the Project\'s HSSE Assurance Plan. Responsible to plan, embed and implement a fit-for-purpose HSSE Assurance plan (e.g. LOD 1, LOD 2, Peer Reviews, etc.) as part of the Project HSSE & SP Activity Plan.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Safety with minimum 8-years job experience in Oil & Gas projects and 4-year experience in HSSE
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership/influencing skills
  • Computer literate and skilled user of MS Office

  • Kuala Lumpur or Bintulu
