Job Description


A Machine Vision Expert in Southeast Asia is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer. You will report to the Sales Manager and Business Development Director in this role. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Machine Vision, Deep Learning, and IIOT in the fast-growing Industrial Automation market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance sales in Southeast Asia
  • Search for new customers, develop relations, and grow the customer base.
  • Convert leads into sales.
  • Achieve individual sales targets.
  • Conduct full sales cycle: lead generation, follow-up, service delivery, and closure.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations.
  • Prospecting for new customers and cold calling as needed.
  • Maintain customer relationships and understand their motivations.
  • Work with integrators to support customers.
  • Execute and follow through the sales plan to expand the customer base in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia
  • Introduce technology that adds value to customers.
  • Continuously improve knowledge on supplier\'s products
  • Weekly review of sales activities with the supervisor
  • Produce regular marketing reports in collaboration with Business Development Director and Sales Manager
  • Communicate with suppliers on sales activities and project status.
Job Requirements:
  • Eligibility: Diploma or Degree in computer, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering fields, or computer science.
  • Experience: Prior success in a similar industry with a comparable sales cycle.
  • Sales Strategy: Proficiency in developing and executing territory sales strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish relations with clients rapidly.
  • Motivation: Highly motivated with hunter instincts to convert prospects into business opportunities.
  • Innovation: Creativity and resourcefulness to introduce impactful technology to customers.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Schedule Management: Ability to manage schedule based on customer needs across multiple time zones.
  • Initiative: Proactive in managing work activities within assigned areas.
  • Resource Utilization: Efficient use of resources for optimal results.
