Job Description

The Technical Sales Consultant is a key team member of the sales organisation who deals with Developers, Consultants/Specifiers, Main Contractor, Plumbers and other professional external parties. It is important to develop and sustain good working relationships both internal and external to the Company so as to grow Company market share.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Specification Selling and Relationship Management -
Identify and gather new potential leads; Build and maintain good rapport with existing and new clients; Provide pre-sales technical assistance/solutions and product education; Persuade the Specifiers/Clients that the Company products and system solution will be best suited to their need/specification; Promote and maintain Fast Flow brand in its leading position; Make technical presentations/demonstrations to meet client needs and increase client interest.
2. Sales Management -
Review and analyse tender documents; Preparations of technical and commercial proposals for projects; Plan and map out execution strategy to secure Sales Agreement; Negotiate tender/contract terms and conditions and Review LOA details.
3. Project Management and Handover -
Conduct periodic handover meeting to ensure smooth handover of secured projects to Design, Operation and Contract Admin department and produce manual shop drawings for projects.
4. Update Reports and Information -
Updating of sales and marketing related reports, competitors analysis and maintain all sales information and records.
5. Staff Management -
Training, coaching and development for subordinates and liaise with Group technical experts for self and staff development programs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering/Architectural/Construction/Science.- 5 to 8 years working experience in construction industry in sales, design or commercial.- Specification selling is an added advantage.- Able to ready and comprehend construction/architectural drawings.- Good analytical and communication skills.

We are operating on a 5-days work week.
