Technical Sales Support Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Electrical / Power Management System

Join us as Technical Sales Support Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Electrical / Power Management System in our Process Automation Business Area where you will be the Technical Specialist for Electrical Systems and Power Management System (preferably with ABB 800XA experiences) within the Oil and Gas, Chemicals and Refineries segments. Reporting to Commercial Operations Director in supporting the HUB Asia Energy Solutions organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical proposal of the applied products and technology to support the sales process. Serve as a key technical resource for the Asia region. This position is based in Malaysia.

Your responsibilities

• Offering technical advice and providing comment to support in early engagement, conceptual studies, FEED, and on enquiry specifications for customers/Account Managers with regards to ABB\xe2\x80\x99s integrated Electrification, Controls, Telecommunications & Digital (ECTD) solutions.
• Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and technical negotiations
• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs by proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
• Offering product/solution/service-related training and preparing and checking technical articles for publication
• Acting as champion for ABB\xe2\x80\x99s commitment to fostering a culture where Compliance & Integrity is woven into the fabric of everything we do

Your background

• Engineering degree with 10 years of expertise in Energy Industry area
• Experience in multi-disciplinary electrical and Power Management projects and application is desirable. Job ref. Job family Version Date Functional area
• Experience in Asia Pacific customer base \xe2\x80\x93 Oil & Gas, and/or Chemical & Refinery Industries
• International, cross-BU and cross-division experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
