Role Summary:

Service Engineer is responsible for all aspects of equipment support performed in the depot & in field or prior to delivery, and to ensure that it is completed in compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures. This may include pre-delivery inspection, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment and breakdown repair. Additionally, this person will drive field actions for Malaysia &regional distributor market, supporting role in expanding service business within Malaysia's market & Greater Asia as well & building a strong customer trust through responsive support & solutions in Front Line Care business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for commissioning, maintenance, re-certification, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair of front-line care equipment (Vital Sign, Cardio & etc.) Able to support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment Capture service activities accurately and prepare detailed service reports in service delivery system and ensure service documents are submitted on time. Record any complaints in the Complaint Management system in a timely manner & escalate any customer complaints whenever necessary Work Instructions. Responsible for ensuring timely completion of the assigned service job within defined KPI. Work closely with clinical and sales teams; gather feedback & relay insight to product/marketing teams & support pre-sales activities (technical specifications & customer meetings) Able to provide service support after office hours, weekends and public holidays if required Support all supplemental activities within Technical Services operations Identify upselling, service contract opportunities & maintaining existing contracts. Maintain calibration tools for depot & on-site tools. Conduct technical workshop with Biomedical & build up relationships with stakeholders. Be part of Global & regional service team for service improvements & best practices sharing for Front Line Care.

Education & Experience:

Degree in Biomedical Engineering & MBOT or BTP registered. Good analytical and problem-solving skills; especially working with electronic tools, calibration tools, and understanding each equipment based on training given. Good communication and interpersonal skills; willingness to explore & learn new things in line of work. Attention to detail, multiple task management Customer oriented (engagement), understanding medical service business sales cycle & willingness to travel extensively in Malaysia. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, English & Malay writing & speaking.
