JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategies for scientific and technological development
  • Develop technology development strategies (technology upgrades, investment prioritization, return optimization, etc.) to support short-term and long-term revenue and profit growth.
  • Effective implementation of the strategy is ensured through annual investment plans and regular control of plan implementation.
2. Improvement and maintenance of equipment

2.1 Regular maintenance and unscheduled repair of equipment.
  • Establish a framework and priorities for cost-effective routine equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Approve and ensure a regular maintenance schedule for all equipment (in accordance with vendor and local requirements) to minimize equipment idle time and component wear and tear.
  • Take action to ensure effective unplanned equipment maintenance based on potential risks to business performance.
2.2 Improvement, upgrading and investment in equipment.
  • Establishes expectations/allocates resources, analyzes/updates equipment improvement opportunities/trends, effectively plans equipment investments and supports equipment improvement initiatives to ensure maximum equipment utilization.
  • Propose new technologies and methods/updates or introductions in strategic assessments.
2.3 Product quality
  • Ensure timely technical support to meet product quality requirements.
3. Investment planning and implementation

3.1 investment plan
  • Develop requirements and investment priorities for cost-effective equipment replacement so that potential risks can be managed, and efficiencies realized.
  • Investment plans (including upfront costs) are presented during the budgeting process.
3.2 Request for investment
  • Review investment requests (what type, why, when, detailed returns) and get approval from Managing Director/Plant Manager (including no plans/additional investments). Take steps to ensure timely production of new products.
3.3 Procurement/ordering of technical equipment
  • Ensure that all required documents and instructions are provided to the purchasing department upon approval of the investment. Sign off on purchases and monitor requirements for timely delivery.
3.4 Upgrading/developing technical skills and competencies.
  • Identifies skills and competencies related to new technology and equipment and develops training programs/plans.
  • Ensure that training plans/projects are implemented to meet emerging needs.
3.5 Equipment installation
  • Oversee the installation of new equipment. Manage equipment vendors and provide proper support from vendors in cases that cannot be resolved by engineers.
3.6 Equipment documentation
  • Ensure equipment documentation is developed and filed as required.
4. Efficiency improvements in technological processes.

4.1 Improvement Plan
  • Regularly analyze possibilities and set goals (KPIs)/agree on targets for technical process improvement.
  • Ensure that agreed improvement programs and plans are implemented efficiently in terms of time and cost (including allocation of project resources) to optimize processes.
4.2 Planning and development of process flows
  • Plans and develops processes to ensure efficient parts assembly and optimize product changeover times to ensure maximum equipment throughput.
4.3 Efficiency management (including product/method work hour quotas)
  • Ensure that the efficiency of working time indicators and methods of utilization is regularly controlled and analyzed to meet agreed upon targets. In collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager, review and approve the layout of the factory on a regular basis/prior to product introduction to ensure efficient and optimum utilization of floor space.
4.4 Training for efficiency
  • Regularly schedules staff training and regularly updates departmental staff on efficiency skills to support efficiency improvements.
5. Product technology development and implementation

5.1 Test development and test equipment
  • Ensure that all necessary testing (as per customer requirements and internal policies and procedures) is developed and completed on time for the required equipment.
  • Ensure that improvements to testing are completed on time.
5.2 Production documentation
  • Monitoring of production documentation, developed in accordance with the quality program - "Production documentation and changes" / customer and legal requirements.
5.3 Customer communication (technical issues, support for industrialization)
  • Ensure follow up on project/product communication matrices.
  • Take action to improve communication.
5.4 Change orders, customer technical documentation/other customer requirements
  • Evaluate all change orders and new requirements.
  • Control all technical changes through agreed monthly reports and take necessary action to review product documentation.
5.5 New product introductions
  • Agree on the product calculation framework and ensure that product calculations are completed as required to support business decisions.
  • Ensure that the process of new product introduction is followed (e.g., internally, according to the transfer procedure, and externally, according to the new product introduction procedure).
  • Ensure that product introduction training is delivered on time.
6. Budget
  • Prepare departmental budgets in accordance with the framework set up by the Finance Department and make recommendations to the Managing Director/Plant Manager in support of strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that the activities of all departments are in line with the budget and that appropriate action is taken in a timely manner to ensure that budgetary objectives are met.
  • Initiate cost reduction actions, set priorities (production, logistics, contract changes, etc.) and ensure that agreed actions are implemented in a timely manner.
7. Report
  • Establish a reporting framework to ensure that all agreed departmental KPIs are effectively measured and aligned with the Managing Director/Plant Manager.
  • Ensure monthly and other agreed reports are delivered on time.
  • These actions were initiated on the basis of reported problems.
8. Business intelligence
  • Establish expectations/allocate resources to analyze/stay updated on opportunities/trends.
  • Constantly updated with new technologies.
  • Propose new technologies and methodologies/updates or improvements in strategic assessments.
9. People management
  • Develop annual/project performance metrics for direct reports and coordinate with Managing Director/Plant Manager.
  • Plans departmental resources and aligns with Managing Director/Plant Manager to ensure subordinates are competent and motivated to meet departmental goals.
10. Legal and security requirements: policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all departmental activities comply with legal and safety requirements.
  • Propose relevant policies and procedures/changes to Managing Director/Plant Manager.
  • Ensure implementation of KITRON and local policies and procedures; propose improvements to support business objectives.
11. Responsible for the maintenance and protection of the company\'s internal and external environment and for complying with the company\'s environmental management policy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Bachelor degree or above, majoring in engineering management.
  • More than eight years of experience in engineering and project management in the electronics manufacturing industry, more than three years of experience in overall management of engineering and technology in foreign-funded enterprises, with advanced management concepts
  • Familiarity with strategic management, organizational change management, project management and strong leadership and organizational coordination skills.
  • Strong cost consciousness, strong sense of responsibility, good at coordinating and arranging, with strong team leadership, judgment decision-making, communication and collaboration, planning and execution ability and good dedication and pioneering spirit of innovation.
  • Proficiency in the use of basic office software and excellent written and oral communication skills in English
