Technical Services Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support and provide solutions to commercial producers on health/management issues
• Provide advice to customers in designing health, vaccination and other disease control programs to accommodate their needs
• Take charge for technical planning, vaccination training and executing customer trials
• Conduct vaccination audit and review hatchery audit reports
• Contribute to the development of a long-term technical strategy for current and future growth of new and existing products.
• Establish relationships and contribute with cross-functional teams to develop and implement account strategies.
• Gather and communicate market feedback to initiate efforts from internal groups to improve the overall technical service function and enhance company service expertise and know-how
• Contribute and speak at key industry technical and commercial meetings.
• Liaise between company and key opinion leaders/universities on industry issues.
• Work with marketing on technical information and the development of support material for Animal Health products used in the poultry business.
• Collaborate and provide technical input to sales meetings.
• Collaborate with internal technician teams to improve vaccination application
• Report adverse events and product complaints as per global and local regulatory requirements
• Assist in cross training of veterinary service team in other areas of cluster (Singapore, Brunei)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Veterinarian licensed to practice in Malaysia.
• 3-5 years of work experience in the poultry industry and familiarity with Malaysian market and companies. Additional species experience can be considered.
• Proven success at managing and working in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently and in multiple group settings

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of commercial poultry production systems as it relates to vaccines and vaccination programs, poultry management, MFAs, and nutrition. Other species expertise to be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel

50% primarily in Malaysia (Peninsular & East). Occasional travel to Singapore/Brunei

• Operate in both field working environment and usual office working conditions
