We are looking for a Technical Solutions Manager based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Role Purpose

As a part of our team, you\'ll have the exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and drive multiple projects, products, and platforms concurrently within a domain. Your role won\'t just stop at analysis and design - you\'ll be a key player in building or technically managing solutions that cater to our business needs. How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

  • Ensures programs/projects appropriately re/use and implement technologies.
  • Interacts and coordinates with regions, and global domains to resolve technical issues of major significance.
  • Ensures compliance with architecture, models, and overall strategy.
  • Works directly with DHL customers, and suppliers as directed by superiors, to ensure that projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality.
  • Participates in global project teams based on role and involvement.
  • Act as BIT lead for global projects with full responsibility for the delivery.
  • Designs systems in the assigned field, technology, products, and tools.
  • Leads POC/POV/prototyping to prove the defined target solution.
  • Implement agreed build or run processes, standards, governance, and metrics.
  • Lead others in developing innovative solutions for complex problems.
  • Provide consultation on the technology, platform, or tools under his remit or expertise.
Do you have what it takes?
  • At least 7 years of multi-disciplined IT experience including experience in large matrixed organizations having gained broad expertise managing large, network-wide programs and projects tied to business goals.
  • 3+ years of experience in a multinational enterprise, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
  • Global experience, collaboration, building, and leading virtual teams.
  • Advanced University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or similar experience/education.
  • Professional Certification in at least one relevant Project Management Technique (PRINCE2 or PMI) and IT Service Management Technique (ITIL).
  • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge/specialization to be able to provide advice on its application.
  • IT solutions development, data analysis, systems design, systems integration, and solutions implementation experience - proven track record for project managing and delivering complex IT solutions.
  • Process knowledge in a solid understanding of the process and metrics supporting the business.
  • Get-it-done attitude: capable of breaking through organizational silos; managing and achieving goals in a matrix environment; quick to adopt best practices rather than reinvent the wheel.
  • Judgment and decision making: applies broad knowledge and sound judgment when evaluating risks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical senior management.
  • Ability to team with, and manage a strong partner/supplier system.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented manager, with a collaborative and participative management style.
