Job Description

Provides work direction and participates in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, telecommunications equipment, scientific instrumentation, video surveillance systems, and other various systems. \xef\x82\xb7 Enforces safety policies and recommends changes to meet safety standards and laws. \xef\x82\xb7 Leads staff to complete assigned duties, which may include scheduling work, making work assignments, managing performance, and recommending personnel actions. \xef\x82\xb7 Performs the same work as those supervised. \xef\x82\xb7 Manages work schedules, monitors overtime, and approves timesheets. \xef\x82\xb7 Trains employees. \xef\x82\xb7 Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure standards are met. \xef\x82\xb7 Inspects, identifies, and assists to correct unsafe conditions, ensures safety procedures are followed, and reports workplace incidents. \xef\x82\xb7 Produces periodic reports. \xef\x82\xb7 Performs inventory control, ensuring adequate levels of parts, equipment, and supplies.
