Job Description

1. Oversee the daily operations of waste-to-energy power plant, ensuring that it runs efficiently and safely. This includes monitoring equipment, identifying and resolving issues, and coordinating with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs as needed. 2. Responsible for maintaining and repairing all plant equipment, including turbines, boilers, and generators. You will also oversee the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems 3. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase equipment lifespan. This includes developing maintenance schedules, monitoring equipment performance, and conducting regular inspections. 4. Responsible for managing a team of maintenance personnel and ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties. This includes scheduling work assignments, conducting performance evaluations, and providing coaching and feedback as needed. 5. Ensure that the plant is in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental and safety regulations. This includes monitoring emissions, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and implementing corrective actions as needed. 6. Developing and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies that optimize plant performance and minimize downtime. This includes conducting cost analyses, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making recommendations for process improvements. 7. Coordinate with other departments within the plant, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure that all activities are properly aligned and integrated. This includes participating in cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and develop solutions. 8. Responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest technological advances in the industry and making recommendations for equipment upgrades and process improvements. This includes attending industry conferences, networking with peers, and conducting research to identify emerging trends and best practices.
