Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This role combines technical support, project coordination, and field deployment across telecommunications and networking domains. Candidates must be ready to work independently, travel when required, and respond on short notice--including weekends and public holidays.
Candidate Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Telecommunications
- Networking
- Electrical & Electronics
- Communications Engineering
- Or other related technical fields
- Basic networking knowledge (IP, routing, switching)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and organised (female candidates encouraged; males welcome)
- Possesses own transport and valid driving licence
- Willing to travel and work overtime, weekends, and public holidays
- Available to respond on short notice, including holidays
Job Scope
- Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications to meet
technical and functional specifications
- Deliver system/application functional support and resolve technical issues
- Prepare project documentation, costing, and technical reports
- Support project planning, coordination, and site activities
- Travel to project sites and assist with installation and maintenance of telecom/network
equipment
- Read and interpret network diagrams to identify faults
- Troubleshoot via server systems (e.g., MySQL)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
