Job Description

Joining as a Senior Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and conducting technical training programs related to manufacturing processes, SMT/assembly operations, and IPC standards to ensure that operators, technicians, and engineers are competent in process execution and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and deliver training modules for SMT, assembly, and backend processes. Conduct certification and recertification training based on

, and other applicable standards. Evaluate employee skills and recommend targeted training to close technical competency gaps. Provide hands-on process training on soldering, component handling, ESD control, and inspection techniques. Collaborate with process engineers and quality teams to identify training needs based on production issues, audit findings, or customer requirements. Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and certification status in the company's training system. Develop visual aids, work instructions, and training materials in coordination with engineering and documentation teams. Support new product introduction (NPI) training and process qualification activities. Ensure training content aligns with industry best practices and quality system standards (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 as applicable). Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and drive improvements in training delivery methods.
Skills and Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3-5 years in EMS manufacturing with hands-on experience in SMT, assembly, or quality control. IPC Certified Trainer (CIT) or IPC Certified Specialist (CIS) in IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 preferred. Strong understanding of SMT and manual soldering processes. Knowledge of PCBA defect types, rework techniques, and inspection criteria. Familiar with process documentation, visual aids, and training material preparation.
