One&Only Desaru Coast is seeking a passionate and dedicated General Technician, Engineering to join our team based in Desaru, Johor.

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, and equipment.
• Participate in regular preventive maintenance programs on electrical equipment.
• Check all lighting systems installed in guest villas, offices accommodations, etc., and outside lighting.
• Ensures all problems being attended to and solved with respect to electrical equipment and machinery, panels, etc. are recorded in the logbook.

About You:

• 3 years of relevant experience in the operation maintenance and repair of the electrical distribution system in a resort/hotel environment.
• Fresh graduates with Industrial Training experiences are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to write and read English and Malay.
• Able to work in a remote area
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and diagnosing in all electrical appliances, and control layouts.
